Using the command line
dvdisaster switches into command line mode if it is invoked
with an action parameter
(such as read, create, scan, fix, test). Otherwise a window for the
graphical user interface will be opened.
Command line mode ignores any settings from the graphical user interface and the .dvdisaster configuration file.
Hints for the Windows version:
- Under Windows 2000 and XP either administrator priviledges or an installed
ASPI driver are required in order to access the CD/DVD drives.
- For technical reasons there are two program versions for Windows:
dvdisaster.exe | -- | provides the command line interface |
dvdisaster-win.exe | -- | contains the graphical user interface |
